The Great Commission
In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus commands us to go unto all the earth, teaching them to observe all that He commanded. The purpose of our Christian education page is to fulfill this commandment of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Discipleship classes at CVBC are done in small groups that meet in the fall and the spring. While suggested studies are provided to group leaders, each home group chooses its own materials. Any courses that are not on the suggested list need to be approved by the pastor before the group begins the study.
The Drama Ministry includes skits and plays for children and adults. Our goal is to have some type of major presentation for the church at Easter and Christmas, as well as smaller skits during the year. The Drama Ministry also includes Shiny Day Ministries, a clown ministry open to adults and children. The clown ministry does skits at CVBC and at other local churches for special occasions.
